Foundation announces new helicopter evacuation partnership

KATHMANDU — The Mountain Injury Foundation has signed a new evacuation partnership that will shorten average helicopter response times from high camps and extend coverage to the Makalu and Manaslu regions.

Under the agreement, foundation coordinators can dispatch evacuations directly for patients in critical condition, regardless of their insurance status.
