What happens in the first few minutes after someone gets hurt often decides how the rest of the rescue goes. This one-day workshop in Kathmandu teaches what to do before help arrives.

You'll learn to

  • Make the scene safe and check the person in the right order
  • Keep someone warm, still and breathing while you wait
  • Send a clear message for help by phone, radio or satellite
  • Hand over to a rescue team without losing anything on the way

No medical background is needed. The workshop is open to trekkers, guides, porters and teahouse staff.
